Who knew a borrowed camera could lead to living the good life!
I now travel the world capturing the sparks that first inspired my couples to say 'I do!'
The ‘light and airy’ photography style is popular among for portrait and wedding photographers, and is the style I gravitate towards in my work. So, a common question I get is how to edit for this look.
I’ve shared a few photography tutorials breaking down my portrait editing process in Lightroom. But before thinking about how to edit – even more important is focusing on how to photograph specifically for this style. That way, straight out of camera, you’ll have beautiful images to work from!
That’s what I’ll be sharing in this video! We talk about how to shoot, choose your backgrounds, pose your subject in relation to the light, camera settings and how to avoid the #1 mistake beginning photographers make with this look (Hint: overexposing highlights) – all to achieve that beautiful clean, light and airy look we (and our clients) love so much!

Happy shooting!
