Naveen knew from the moment he first saw Venisa at an event for their master’s program at NCSU that she was the one. That began a year-long journey to win her affection. He stealthily became homework partners with her roommate, taught her to drive over an ‘intentionally long period of time’, went on many trips with friends, and many other romantic gestures to show her how much he cares. But what finally won her heart was when she saw some photos he had taken. She was impressed by how talented he was and asked her to take some pictures of her. Venisa’s words say it best: “All I wanted were a few good pictures, but I ended up falling for the photographer instead.” 🙂

Venisa and Naveen currently reside in both Chicago and Atlanta, and love going on trips together. They came to me completely open to ideas and locations for their destination engagement session. After hearing all about them and what they love, I had the perfect spot in mind for them. Together we brainstormed things out and met up for a shoot along the beautiful San Francisco coast in Marin County, CA. Here’s just a handful from the day!
